This website is intended to bring together a wide collection of study materials for Oracle Certification exams in a single location. The 'Exam Info' page lists a significant number of the certification exams available from Oracle Education. Clicking on an individual exam will open a details page with links to several types of information about the exam including:

Oracle documentation relevant to the the exam
Study Guides in the Oracle Certification Prep Series if one exists
Oracle Certification Prep practice tests for the exam if one exists

Much of the Oracle study material contained on the Exam Details page is free and all of it is certification safe. This site will never link to brain dump material that can endanger your certification. While this site was created to support the Oracle Certification Prep series of study guides, everyone is welcome to make use of the resources that have been gathered here.

Oracle Certification Prep Practice Tests

You asked. We answered. One of the most common requests from certification seekers is where they can locate practice questions for the exam. Now, you can find them here. Practice tests for several of the more popular Oracle Certification exams are available from this site. Over the coming months, the number of tests covered will grow steadily. In addition, for the most popular exams, additional practice test versions will be added that will contain a completely different set of questions from the initial version.

These tests are not brain dumps. They are certification-safe and will not endanger your existing or future Oracle credentials. As each test is completed, it is submitted to the Oracle Certification team to demonstrate that it does not contain actual exam questions and answers. While the material will not be the actual exam questions and answers, these practice tests will cover the same topics and be very similar to what certification candidates will experience on the real exam. Oracle Certification Prep practice tests are intended to provide a testing environment for candidates that is as close to the real one as possible without cheating. The practice tests will have the same question count, time limit, and passing percentage as the exams from the Oracle Certification team.

Oracle Certification Prep practice tests are offered on a per-usage basis. A flat fee of $19.50 will allow any of the practice tests to be taken a single time. You can find out more about them in the 'Practice Tests' page of this site.

About the Author

Matthew Morris has worked with the Oracle database since 1996 when he worked in the RDBMS support team for Oracle Support Services. For over eleven years he worked in support and development positions. A significant contributor to the knowledgebase that evolved into Metalink, Matthew developed and delivered courses for numerous topics to incoming support analysts.

An early enthusiast of the Oracle Certified Professional program, he was one of the first one hundred Oracle Certified Database Administrators (version 7.3) and was also in the first hundred to become an Oracle Certified Forms Developer. In the years since, he has upgraded his Database Administrator certification for releases 8i, 9i, 10G and 11G, become an Oracle Advanced PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional, and added the Application Express Expert and the Oracle SQL Expert certifications. Outside of Oracle, he has CompTIA certifications in Linux+ and Security+.

Matthew is an experienced Database Administrator and PL/SQL developer and has been creating Web-enabled applications with Oracle Application Express since the early days of its release. He is currently employed as a Database Engineer with Computer Sciences Corporation developing enterprise applications.
